A suggestion for some plants which may work well together and also ones to avoid planting near each other.

Crop Companion Avoid Comments
Asparagus Dill, coriander, tomatoes, parsley, basil, comfrey Onions, garlic, potatoes Good near aster flowers and marigolds
Beans Carrots, celery, chard, corn, peas, potatoes, brassicas, strawberries, cucumbers Alliums, tomatoes, peppers, kales Enriches soil with nitrogen.
Borage Tomatoes, squash, strawberries Loved by bees/wasps.  Good addition to the compost pile.  Self seeds.
Cabbages Celery, dill, onions, potatoes Tomatoes, peppers, strawberries. mustard, runner beans Plant with clover to reduce cabbage aphid
Carrots Lettuce, onions, tomatoes Dill, parsnips, radish May stunt growth of carrots.
Celery Beans, cabbages, leek, onion, spinach, tomatoes Corn Good near cosmos, daisies and snapdragons
Cucumber Corn, beans, beets, radishes, carrots Sage, potatoes, rue, tomatoes Sunflowers may be grown to provide support
Garlic Apples, pears, cucumbers, peas, lettuce, celery
